Polymeric Interconnect, Inc.

Disruptive Innovation in Thin Film Printed Electronics

Polymeric Interconnect, Inc. (PII) develops highly differentiated conductive ink formulations, superior to existing commercialized products for the printable electronics and solar photovoltaic business opportunities.

The primary technologists, founder Hugh Craig and associate Derril Steele have extensive experience and successful track records in electronic materials development and commercialization.

In 2003, Dow Corning acquired the Intellectual Property assets of Hugh Craig and Derril Steele to diversify from silicones into organic electronic materials.

In 2007, Dow Corning abandoned the commercialization and supply of the non-silicone PII-related products, after successful initial customer acceptance.

Demand for printed ink products in the electronic materials industry is estimated to grow to $38 Billion by 2015.
